Lebanon County restaurant inspections, Dec. 15, 2025 (witf.org) — Lebanon County diners can now see how local restaurants, including spots in the city of Lebanon, fared in recent state food safety inspections. The latest report highlights both clean follow-ups and recurring issues like dirty equipment, sanitizer problems, and maintenance needs, helping you decide where to eat with confidence. 
2. Cornwall Manor acquires 55 acres of North Cornwall Township farmland (lebtown.com) — Cornwall Manor has purchased a 55-acre farm along Quentin Road in North Cornwall Township, securing scarce open land just outside Lebanon for future use while keeping it in active agriculture for now. Leaders say the buy supports their long-term stewardship and health-focused mission, complementing the Trailside Organic Farm that already supplies produce locally.
3. South Annville Township adopts 2026 budget with no tax increases (lebtown.com) — South Annville Township has adopted its 2026 budget with no tax increases, while also advancing an updated zoning ordinance that will soon go before Lebanon County planners. Supervisors reviewed local police activity, road and ADA work, and grant applications, and highlighted a free Christmas tree recycling program available to all Lebanon County residents through the Greater Lebanon Refuse Authority.
4. Police charge caretaker with stealing N. Lebanon woman's funds (ldnews.com) — A North Lebanon Township senior’s bank account was allegedly drained through dozens of unauthorized transactions while she relied on a hired caregiver for help. Lebanon County Regional Police say the caregiver used the woman’s Lebanon Federal Credit Union card and even impersonated her on the phone; the suspect now faces multiple fraud and theft charges with a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 18.
5. Mixed Bag: Deer with 'Pet' spray-painted on its sides found in Lebanon County on opening day (outdoornews.com) — A strangely tame deer with the word “pet” spray-painted on both sides was spotted wandering around a Lebanon County community, even approaching a business in West Cornwall Township and lingering near a police cruiser. The rest of this statewide roundup highlights DCNR park initiatives, a long-term lease to support rural small businesses, a Presque Isle planning survey, a coyote attack, and a new state park manager.
