100 Evacuated After SEPTA Rail Car Catches Fire In Levittown
SEPTA officials said the incident on Tuesday morning happened on the Trenton Line at the Levittown Station.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — SEPTA service has resumed on the Trenton Line after a railroad car caught fire at the Levittown-Tullytown Station on Tuesday morning, officials said.
Andrew Busch, SEPTA's director of media relations, told Patch that about 100 passengers were on board at the time of the incident on the Trenton Line.

He said the passengers were safely evacuated and that the incident involved one rail car.
Busch said that firefighters didn't have to spray the train. He said the smoke dissipated after the power was shut off.

SEPTA is investigating the incident.
The Trenton Line provides service from Trenton, N.J., to Philadelphia. It makes five stops in Lower Bucks County: Levittown, Bristol, Croydon, Eddington, and Cornwell Heights.
Busch said that emergency response was underway and that SEPTA would provide more details as further information became available.
The Edgely Fire Company Engine 10 was dispatched with the Tullytown Fire Company for a report of a train fire at Levittown Train Station.
Fire crews secured power to the train to bring this incident to a close.
