12 Inductees Added to Bristol Twp.’s Athletic Hall of Fame

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bristol Township School District Athletic Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 Induction Class.

The school district will honor nine former athletes and three Distinguished Service award winners during an awards banquet on Oct. 11 at Georgine’s Restaurant in Bristol.

The Distinguished Service honorees are:

  • Carol Gross, a former physical education teacher, gymnastics coach, and senior class advisor
  • Tony Schino, also a physical education teacher, varsity football and baseball coach at Truman High School for many years. He was named Baseball Coach of the Year in 1996 after leading the team to the District One Championship.
  • George Ingram, Bristol Township’s first aquatics director and member of the Pennsylvania State Swimming Coaches Hall of Fame.

The other inductees are:

  • Bob Witte, from Wilson’s Class of 1968, is being inducted for his outstanding achievements in swimming. He was the Lower Bucks League champion, District One and PIAA sectional champion, and PIAA bronze medalist in the 100-yard breaststroke, earning high school All-American honors.
  • Sam Caucci, Wilson Class of 1972, was an outstanding varsity football player. As a fullback, he was named Honorable Mention on the Bucks County Courier Times All-Section One Offense, and on First Team as a junior. He was the Golden Rams premier running back and continued playing semi-pro football after graduation.
  • Sean Mitchell, from Truman’s Class of 1991, excelled in both wrestling and football. As a wrestler, he was the 1990 New Hope Tournament Champion, 1991 Regional Champion, and winner of the US Army Scholar Athlete Award. His football accolades include twice representing Truman as the Coaches Round Table Football Player of the Week.
  • Michael Breen, from Truman’s Class of 1992, was both an outstanding football and baseball star. A National Football Foundation Nominee and Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete Award Nominee in his senior year, he captained the baseball team and was the Second Team Bucks County Courier Times Designated Hitter on the Golden Team. He won the Tiger Award at Truman as the Best Male Athlete of his graduation year.
  • Krystel Kessner-Adams, Truman Class od 2002, was a varsity bowler who earned a spot on the First Team All-Suburban One League for all four years of her high school career. She was also named Bucks County Courier Times Girls Bowler of the Year and named to the Times’ “Best in Bucks,” along with other top scholar-athletes.
  • Christi White-O'Neill, from Truman's Class of 2003, continued the tradition of excellence in bowling by being named to the Suburban One League First Team for all four years of her high school career, had the highest league average, and helped lead Truman to win the East-West Division Championships from 2001-2003. As a scholarship recipient of Fairleigh Dickinson College, she was instrumental in her team winning the National Championship and being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
  • Maurice Jackson, Jr., Class of 2016, played the outside linebacker/strong safety position at Truman and earned multiple All-Suburban One League selections. He made the All-State team in his senior year and was a PA Maxwell Award finalist. He received a full scholarship to the University of Richmond and entered the 2020 NFL draft.
  • Erica L. Waller-Hill, Truman Class of 1995, had a most impressive athletic career in Bristol Township in both basketball and track & field. She was named Bucks County Athlete of the Week numerous times, was the district champion in shot put and discus from 1994-1995, earned All-American honors, held the shot put record for seven years, and competed in the MAC championships.
  • Craig Brutus, Class of 2005, is the first graduate of the Bucks County Technical School and Truman to be inducted into the Bristol Township Hall of Fame. His soccer honors include First Team National Division, Suburban One League First Team as both a junior and senior, Courier Times All-Area First Team, and is the all-time leading goal scorer in Truman soccer history.

Pa. (215-785-0564). The reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner program and
awards presentation. Tickets are $55.
