$2,500 Reward Offered By Bucks Co. SPCA To Catch Cat Killer
The Bucks County SPCA said a cat was shot and killed in Falls Township last week.
LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County SPCA is offering a $2,5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for shooting and killing a cat in Falls Township last week.
SPCA officials said a cat called Mikey was found dead in the B section of Pennwood Crossing Mobile Home Park in Falls Township at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 11.

The Bucks SPCA said the cat's body was still warm, and he was bleeding. The cat was taken to a veterinary clinic, where X-rays identified a projectile.
Mikey was a neutered tuxedo cat who was known to be friendly by those who manage a cat colony in the area.

"We extend our heartfelt sympathy to those who knew and loved Mikey," the Bucks County SPCA said.

The Bucks County SPCA said that animal cruelty is a crime in Pennsylvania.
Causing the death of a cat, a house cat or a feral cat, can be a felony offense. BCSPCA investigates every tip received and has investigated similar cases every couple of years.
An investigation into the 2023 shooting of two cats at the Aspen Falls Apartments in Falls Township resulted in a felony conviction. BCSPCA granted a reward to a community member who provided video footage which identified the shooter.
