2 Critically Injured In Bristol Car Crash

Police say a Monte Carlo went out of its lane and crashed into a telephone pole early Sunday morning.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people were critically injured early Sunday after a car crashed into a telephone pole in Bristol Township.

The crash happened shortly after 1 a.m., according to the Bristol Township Police Department. Officers were called at 1:23 a.m. to the scene in the area of 250 Bristol Emilie Rd.

Investigators learned that a Chevrolet Monte Carlo was headed west on Bristol Emilie when it crossed over into the eastbound lane and hit the telephone pole.

Both the driver and a passenger were critically injured and taken by Levittown Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and Bucks County Rescue Squad to St. Mary Medical Center, police said.

Bristol Township Fire Police and Levittown Fire Company #2 were called to help at the scene of the crash.
