BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Over two dozen people have been displaced from an apartment fire early Wednesday morning that is under investigation, fire officials said.

Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told Patch on Thursday that 25 people have been displaced from the fire at the Levittown Trace Apartments at 3000 Ford Road.

Dippolito said that fire crews responded at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday to the three-alarm fire that started in a 2nd-floor apartment before spreading to the third floor and the attic.

He said that four people were injured in the fire.

That included three firefighters who suffered the following injuries: one had a fractured arm, another an ankle injury, while the third firefighter suffered smoke inhalation.

Dippolito said a resident suffered an arm injury after jumping out of a second-floor apartment window.

Numerous fire crews from throughout Lower Bucks County battled the blaze.
