3-Vehicle Middletown Crash Kills Motorcycle Rider

Maple Avenue was closed for much of Tuesday morning as police investigators worked the scene.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A motorcycle rider was killed Tuesday in a three-vehicle crash, according to police.

The crash happened Tuesday morning in front of 340 E. Maple Ave., between N. Flowers Mill Road and Rt. 413. According to police, the collision damaged all three vehicles that were involved.

"The operator of the motorcycle did not survive the collision," police said in a written statement.

Police had not identified the victim as of early Tuesday afternoon.
