African-American Museum Of Bucks Co. Progressing
Bucks County officials said they will soon turn over the Middletown Township historic building to the museum to complete the project.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The African American Museum of Bucks County is progressing since its 2022 groundbreaking, county officials said.
Bernard Griggs, interim Director of Operations for the General Services Department, spoke at this week's Bucks County Commissioners’ meeting about the progress of the project.
The AAMBC’s future home at Boone Farm in Core Creek Park in Middletown Township is a historic farm dating back at least 300 years with links to the Great Migration of the 20th century.

The transformation has been laborious due to the age of the building but it’s almost ready for an interior makeover.
In the coming weeks, Bucks County will hand over control of the project to the AAMBC to complete the project and eventually open it to the public.

The AAMBC plans to have different exhibits and programs throughout the year.
