Annual Christmas Tree Arrives In Bristol Borough

The tree, which sits near the corner of Mill Street and Radcliffe Street next to the King George Inn, arrived in town in Friday, Nov. 19.

BRISTOL, PA — The annual Bristol Borough Christmas tree that sits near the Bristol Wharf arrived on Friday, Nov. 19.

The tree was supplied to the Borough by Jim's Tree Service, a company based out of Croydon. They were assisted by JMW Equipment, according to their Facebook page.

"A huge thank you to our guys for getting and putting up the Bristol Borough Christmas tree," the company said on their page.

It was situated in its normal spot, next to the King George Inn near the corner of Mill Street and Radcliffe Street. The tree is a local tradition, sitting in front of the Bristol Wharf for all locals and visitors to see.

The raising of the tree will be followed by the annual Bristol Borough Christmas Parade, which will go through the entire Borough and end at the corner where the tree is located. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 27, with a rain date set the following day.
