MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — "Fly Eagles Fly."

We all know the phrase of our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. And after Sunday night's victory against the Detroit Lions, many of us either heard the phrase or said it to celebrate another win by the football team as they get ready to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

But those at the Core Creek Elementary School got a special Eagles treat on Monday.

Bald Eagles are often seen around Bucks County, with several taking to the high wires in Bensalem Township.

Two years ago, a Bald Eagle named Edith was injured bird near The Courtyards of a Bensalem apartment complex.

Edith was found to be 18 years old and was treated at the Aark Wildlife and Rehabilitation Center in Chalfont after being struck by a vehicle in September 2023.
