Bolton Mansion To Host Open House Over The Weekend
The historic Bucks County mansion's open house will also have history tours, as well as colonial brewing and blacksmithing demonstrations.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Historic Bolton Mansion has announced an open house, replete with free, family-fun activities, to be held on the estate this Saturday.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic mansion, which is located at 85 Holly Drive in Levittown. Friends of Bolton Mansion will be hosting the event, which is free to the public.
Along with an open house of the property, the event will also give attendees the chance to observe Colonial-style brewing, blacksmithing, hearth cooking, spinning, and history tours of the estate, which was originally built in 1687.

Refreshments will be available to all in attendance.
The mansion is one of several historically-rich locations in Bucks County. Its original owners, the Pembertons, were friends of William Penn.

"Historically and architecturally, the house is one of the most significant in Pennsylvania; nearly every one of its inhabitants since the days of William Penn has influenced the course of history in the state," the mansion's official website reads.
