Bristol Borough Mourns Unity Day Founder

U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick paid tribute to the late Bristol Borough community leader Carla Reynolds.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — The Bristol Borough community is mourning the loss of one of its community leaders.

"We are heartbroken by the loss of Bristol Borough’s Carla Reynolds," U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said. "There are some people whose presence makes a community feel more whole —Carla was one of them."

Through her Boots on the Ground Foundation, Reynolds gave selflessly and consistently — feeding the hungry, supporting families in crisis, and offering not just essentials, but her time, heart, and unwavering care, Fitzpatrick said.

Bristol’s annual Unity Day was Reynolds' greatest gift to our community, Fitzpatrick said.

"It was born of our shared belief that honoring others and bringing people together can heal, inspire, and remind us that we have far more in common than what sets us apart," Fitzpatrick said. "Over our many years of working together, I came to know Carla not just as a tireless advocate, but as a dear friend. I was always proud to stand beside her, and honored to recognize her as the hometown hero she truly was."
