Bristol Community Park Opening Set For May (ICYMI)
The revamped park will be next to the Bristol Township municipal complex.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Officials in Bristol Township have set an opening date for the new municipal community park.
A grand opening for the park has been scheduled for Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The free event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the startup of the new spray park, the opening of the new playground, live music, bounce houses, face painting, balloon art, roaming characters and more.
There will be food vendors and other booths at the event as well.

The park upgrade project began when the township bought land next to the municipal complex using money from Bucks County Municipal Open Space grants.
In recent weeks, crews have been finalizing details, including the installation of benches, tables and trash cans at the new park.
