Bristol Twp. Fire Started In Pile Of Clothes: Marshal

The home was damaged badly in the Saturday fire and is uninhabitable until repairs are made, fire officials said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A fire Saturday morning at a home in Bristol Township started in a pile of clothing, according to officials.

Firefighters were called at 8:52 a.m. to the home on the 100 block of Dogwood Drive in Bristol. They were able to contain the blaze to a hallway on the home's first floor, said Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

Dippolito said Saturday morning that he determined where the fire started, but that the exact cause of the blaze remained under investigation.

The home was damaged badly in the fire and is uninhabitable until repairs are made, but no one was injured, according to Dippolito. Red Cross is working to help the family.
