Bristol Twp. Police Log: Catalytic Converter Thefts Ongoing

Between July 14 and July 20, the Bristol Township Police Department responded to multiple incidents in the township.

BRISTOL TOWNHSHIP, PA — The Bristol Township Police Department reported multiple arrests and many catalytic converter thefts Wednesday, July 14 - Tuesday, July 20.

Wednesday, July 14
12:38 a.m. — A 45-year-old Trevose man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff’s Office.

Thursday, July 15
8:47 a.m. — Sometime between July 4 and Thursday, an unknown subject siphoned oil from a residential oil tank. The estimated value is $550.
11:19 a.m. — Sometime overnight on Newportville Road in Croydon, someone removed a catalytic converter from a 2017 Mitsubishi. The estimated value is $1,000.
12:38 p.m. — A 40-year-old Jenkintown man was arrested on a Local Warrant out of Bristol Township. He processed and arraigned by Judge Wagner. Bail was set at 10 percent of $25,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
3:41 p.m. — Sometime overnight on Veterans Highway in Bristol, someone removed a catalytic converter from a 2021 Mitsubishi. The estimated value is $1,300.
8:19 p.m. — A 54-year-old Bristol man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff’s Office.

Friday, July 16
2:39 a.m. — A 31-year-old Levittown man was arrested on a Local Warrant out of Bristol Township. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Vislosky. Bail was set at 10 percent of $100,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
8:53 a.m. — A 36-year-old Croydon man was arrested on the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Wagner. Bail was set at 10 percent of $300,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
8:40 p.m. — A 58-year-old Levittown man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, July 17
9:01 a.m. — A 40-year-old Bristol woman was arrested on the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Mischief. The subject was processed and arraigned by Judge Peranteau. Bail was set at 10 percent of $30,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
2:23 p.m. — On Bath Road in Bristol sometime overnight, someone stole a gold and black bicycle from the rear yard. Several other bicycles have been stolen over the past year. The estimated value is $1,000.

Sunday, July 18
8:57 a.m. — Sometime overnight on Bristol Pike, someone broke into a store and stole cash, several cartons of cigarettes, and scratch-off lottery tickets.

Monday, July 19
2:38 a.m. — Sometime after 12:30 a.m. on Bristol Pike, someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2014 Ford E250 van and attempted to remove another one from another vehicle. The estimated loss is $2,500.00.
6:33 a.m. — On River Road in Croydon, sometime over the weekend someone cut and removed 12 catalytic converters from a fleet of work trucks. The estimated value is $38,000.
8:49 a.m. — Sometime overnight on Bath Road in Bristol, someone removed a catalytic converter from a 2017 Mitsubishi. The estimated value is $1,000.
2:49 p.m. — A 26-year-old man was arrested on the charges of Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness. The subject was processed and arraigned by Judge Peranteau. Bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Tuesday, July 20
1:10 a.m. — A 52-year-old Bristol man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bradford County. The warrant was satisfied and the subject was released. A 45-year-old man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff’s Office.
3:33 a.m. — A 37-year-old Croydon man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bensalem Township and released to the Bensalem Police.
5:32 a.m. — A 49-year-old Penndel man was arrested on a Bench Warrant out of Bucks County and released to the Sheriff’s Office.
9 a.m. — A 47-year-old Croydon man was arrested on a Local Warrant out of Bristol Township. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Brown with bail set at $5,000.
12 p.m. — A 35-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested on a Local Warrant out of Bristol Township. He was processed and arraigned by Judge Brown. Bail was set at 10 percent of $5,000 and he was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
3:37 p.m. — Sometime overnight on Newportville Road in Croydon, someone stole a license plate from a truck that was parked in an apartment complex.
