Bucks Co. HS Coach Accused Of 'Inappropriate Relationships' With A Number Of Students: DA
Police said Friday that they were investigating a teacher's aide and basketball coach alleged to have had relationships with students.

BENSALEM, PA — A Bensalem High School teacher's aide and junior varsity basketball coach is under investigation over allegations of inappropriate relationships with students, according to a news release Friday.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office said its detectives and the Bensalem Police Department are conducting the investigation into allegations concerning "a number of students."
The teacher's aide has been administratively suspended from work at the school, according to the release.

"As soon as we learned of the situation being investigated, we removed the individual from his work and coaching duties and all interactions with students," a spokesperson for the district wrote Friday. "He was immediately placed on leave."
The district also said that at the time of his hiring, all required background checks were clear.

"The safety and well-being of our students is always our highest priority at Bensalem Township School District," the spokesperson wrote.
The school district will have counseling services available to all students who wish to discuss the matter.
