Burlington-Bristol Bridge Overnight Changes To Last 2 Weeks

The bridge spanning the Delaware River in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will also have shifting traffic patterns all week, officials said.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Burlington-Bristol Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic overnight Tuesday, with changing nightly traffic patterns for the rest of the week, officials said.

The Burlington-Bristol Bridge Commission said that the bridge over the Delaware River that connects Lower Bucks County with Burlington, N.J., will be completely closed to vehicular traffic from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. on Wednesday.

Drivers should then expect alternating traffic patterns on the bridge nightly from Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 1., from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday, officials said.

The commission did not state the reason for the overnight closure and traffic pattern changes on the two-lane bridge which is 2,300 feet and opened in 1931.
