Commerce Circle Stabbing Sends Man To Hospital: Police

A 43-year-old man was rushed into surgery after an altercation on Monday ended in a wound to his back.

BRISTOL, PA — A 43-year-old man was stabbed in Bristol on Monday and rushed to the hospital, police said.

The Bristol Borough Police Department responded to a report of the stabbing near 95 Commerce Circle, where upon arrival they found the man with a stab wound to his upper back.

Police said they believe he had a verbal altercation with a group of people and that someone in the group stabbed him. He made his way to a local business afterward where staff called the police.

The man was treated by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and rushed into surgery. On Monday night he was listed in stable condition, according to police reports.
