Edgely Road Paving Planned This Week
PennDOT said the work begins on Tuesday on the well-traveled Bristol Township road.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said paving is planned this week on Edgely Road under several ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, Sept. 2, through Friday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Edgely Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Bristol and Middletown townships.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide drivers with a safer and smoother riding surface.
