Elderly Missing Woman Found In Bristol Twp.

The Bucks County Sheriff's Office used its K-9 unit to find the woman Sunday night.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — An elderly woman missing in Bristol Township Sunday night was found through the use of the Bucks County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit, authorities said.

Authorities successfully located the elderly Croydon woman, responding to a request from Bristol Township Police around midnight for the sheriff's K9 team, including K9 Zeke, to assist.

The woman had been missing since 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Authorities said K9 Zeke initiated a track through the neighborhood, ultimately leading deputies to her location in a nearby driveway, where she was found with a Bristol Township Police officer.

The woman was safely transported back to her residence, authorities said.

"This successful operation demonstrates the vital role our K9 Unit plays in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community members," the sheriff's office said. "We commend the quick coordination between the Bristol Township Police Department and our deputies."
