Elmo's Springtacular Returns At Sesame Place

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Sesame Place is gearing up for springtime fun again.

Elmo’s Springtacular, the amusement park’s annual celebration of spring, kicks off Saturday and runs through June 16 with three all-new events and the re-opening of the Sunny Day Carousel, Sesame Place’s most popular attraction, organizers said.

The events, included in park admission, bring an exciting lineup of Meet & Greets, music, magic, pirate adventures, and fireworks to Sesame Place.

Guests can spin, soar, whirl, and twirl on their favorite Sesame Street-themed attractions, take photos with their favorite furry friends, and enjoy energetic entertainment, including the award-winning Sesame Street Party Parade.

All-new springtime fun includes:

• Abby’s Magic Weekend, April 13 & 14 —For the first time, Elmo’s Springtacular will kick off with Abby’s Magic Weekend, full of spellbinding tricks and spectacular illusions. This whimsical event includes magic shows with magician Sam Sandler, an all-new Fairy Friends Magical Dance Party, and strolling magic from KooKoo the Cartoon Magician to create an absolutely enchanting atmosphere. Everyone’s favorite Sesame Street friends will be dressed in their magic-themed outfits for fabulous and fantastical photo opportunities!
• “A Day Out with Blippi,” April 20 & 21 —Back by popular demand, children’s performer Blippi will return to Sesame Place for a new musical experience. In this limited-time special event, Blippi will appear in “A Day Out With Blippi” at Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage for some silly surprises, dancing, and special guests! Space for “A Day Out With Blippi” is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Grumpy Monkey Meet & Greets, May 4 & 5 —Guests can swing into Sesame Studio for a wild time to meet the titular Grumpy Monkey himself, Jim Panzee, from the best-selling book series by Suzanne Lang. Reservations are required for Meet & Greets.
• Bluey Meet & Greets, June 1 & 2 —For the first time ever, popular children’s television star Bluey will venture from Australia to Sesame Place. Guests can say “G’day!” to everyone’s favorite energetic and imaginative Blue Heeler puppy, who will be available for Meet & Greets at the Sesame Studio. Reservations are required for Meet & Greets.

The Sunny Day Carousel, currently under renovation, is scheduled to re-open during Elmo’s Springtacular in its new location at the front of the park.

In addition, fan-favorite performances and Meet & Greets will return to Sesame Place in an exciting line-up of weekend events.
