Falls Twp. Man Shot In Home Invasion

The shooting happened Saturday morning in the Morrisville section, according to police.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A Morrisville man was shot Saturday morning after robbers broke into his apartment, according to police.

Falls Township Police officers were called at 8:50 a.m. to Nolan Park Apartments, off of West Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section, to a report of a shooting. They arrived to find a man who was shot during a home invasion robbery, said Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney.

The man, who was shot in the shoulder, was taken by ambulance to Capital Health Medical Center in New Jersey. Police say the robbers were two men dressed all in black clothing. They left the scene in a white Hyundai Sonata, with what appeared to be a temporary New Jersey registration that began with "M29."

The Sonata's back windows were tinted and the car had damage to its passenger side, Whitney said.
