Gov. Wolf Will Be In Bucks Co. Friday To Talk Restaurant Grants
Governor Tom Wolf will visit Bristol Borough Friday afternoon to highlight grant funding awarded to local restaurants affected by COVID-19.

LEVITTOWN, PA — Governor Tom Wolf will speak at the Bristol Wharf Friday afternoon to highlight the $7 million in grant funding recently awarded to Bucks County restaurants affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funding was awarded to 196 Bucks County restaurants through the COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program. Grants ranged in amount from $5,000 to $40,000, and came from state funding of $145 million secured by Wolf to aid restaurants harmed during the pandemic.
Speakers will include State Representative John Galloway;, Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie, Executive Director of the Bucks County Economic Development Corp. Robert Cormack, and Deputy Secretary of Technology & Innovation for the Pennsylvania Department of Economic & Community Development Steve D’Ettorre.

Dana Pezza, owner of the nearby Itri Wood Fired restaurant in Bristol Borough, will speak, too. Her business received $40,000 in CHIRP funding.
