Bucks Co. Man Killed I-95 Crash

The crash Monday clogged roads and delayed school buses around the highway during the morning commute.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A 65-year-old Bucks County man was killed during a three-car crash on Interstate 95 on Monday morning, State Police said.

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M - Trevose Station is investigating the crash that happened at 4:58 a.m. Monday on northbound Interstate 95 at Mile Marker 37.8 in Bensalem Township.

State Police said a 2008 Ford Fusion, driven by a 65-year-old Levittown man, struck the center barrier, killing him.

The crash also involved a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 43-year-old Camden, N.J., man, and a 2005 Nissan 350Z, driven by a 68-year-old man from Philadelphia, police said.

The highway was closed for over four hours due to the crash, reopening at 9:30 a.m., police said.

State Police said the Bucks County Coroner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death to the Levittown driver.

Due to the closure, all Bensalem buses that run into Eddington, Cornwells Heights, and Andalusia were delayed, the Bensalem Township School District reported.
