Langhorne Hospital Named One Of PA's Best In U.S. News Ranking

LEVITTOWN, PA — St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne was ranked number 24 in the U.S. News & World Report's list of best hospitals in the state.

Of the 236 Pennsylvania hospitals considered this year, the medical center — part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic — is among only 28 recognized.

Now in their 32nd year, the annual "Best Hospital" rankings and ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures.

St. Mary Medical Center was listed as high performing in six specialties: heart failure, heart attack, diabetes, kidney failure, knee replacement, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Additionally, St. Mary was ranked no. 17 on the list of Best Hospitals in the Philadelphia metropolitan area — a region including Camden, New Jersey and Wilmington, Delaware.

For the 2021-22 rankings and ratings, U.S. News evaluated more than 4,750 medical centers nationwide in 15 specialties and 17 procedures and conditions. In the 15 specialty areas, 175 hospitals were ranked in at least one specialty.
