Levittown Man Driving Jeep Without A Tire Charged With DUI: Cops
A Levittown man is facing DUI charges after police pulled him over in a Jeep that was missing its front tire.
UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A 32-year-old Levittown man is facing charges after he was caught driving a Jeep that was missing a front tire, police in Upper Makefield said.
The incident happened Sept. 29 just after 3 a.m. on River Road at Cedar Glen Drive.
The officer was parked waiting for a tow truck for another vehicle when the Jeep missing a tire passed by. The driver, later identified as identified as Torrey Drum, was operating it with a just a rim, according to police.

The officer did a U-turn and stopped the Jeep on River Road.
Drum exhibited physical signs of impairment so field dexterity tests were completed, police said.

Drum was then taken into custody for the suspicion of driving under the influence. He was charged with DUI and careless driving.
