Man Found Dead In Quaker Penn Park: Police

The man was found at the Morrisville park earlier this week.

MORRISVILLE, PA — A man found dead at a Bucks County park earlier this week died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.

The Falls Township Police Department released new information Thursday on the incident, which occurred in Quaker Penn Park on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

Officers responded to a report of a man who was shot at the park, located on 300 Pennsbury Road near the Delaware River. The officers found him with the gun next to his body.

There were no witnesses or visitors to the park, as it happened early in the day around 8 a.m.

The park was closed for several hours as investigators went over the scene and the body.
