Man Shot At Bristol Group Including 9-Year-Old Girl

The shooting happened on Wood Street at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to police.

BRISTOL PA — Police in Bristol Borough are searching for a shooter who on Tuesday fired into a group of people that included a 9-year-old girl.

The shooting happened at about 5:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Wood Street.

According to police, a man got out of a cream-colored SUV and fired several rounds down the street. Police say there were several people, including the girl, on the sidewalk at the time, but no one was hit.

The gunman then got back into the SUV and drove away, police said. He is described as a black male, about 5'10" with a slim build and dreadlocks.

Investigators were working to determine who the gunman was targeting in the shooting. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Detective Davis at 215-788-7813, Ext. 2425.
