MIDDLETOWN, PA — An employee of an electronics recycling business was shot and killed early Thursday morning outside his workplace in Langhorne, according to police.
Officers from the Middletown Township Police Department were called at 5:51 a.m. to the parking lot of Kuusakoski Recycling at 900 Wheeler Way. There, they found a 52-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, said police spokesman Lt. Steve Forman.
Co-workers of the man were trying to give him first aid when officers arrived, Forman said. But, he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene after an EMS team arrived.

Police were not releasing the man's name Thursday morning, pending the notification of his family. Police said he and the other employees were arriving to work when the shooting happened.
Forman said investigators believe the man was specifically targeted in the shooting and don't think there is a risk to the general public. Investigators from Middletown Township Police and Bucks County Detectives remained on the scene late Thursday morning.
