A Neshaminy School District Teacher Has Received A Top Award. What Was It?
Carl Sandburg Middle School physical education teacher Donna Ferro was recently named a "Teacher of the Year" by a state organization.

LANGHORNE, PA — The Neshaminy School District can count among its educational staff a "Teacher of the Year."
The school district congratulated Carl Sandburg Middle School physical education teacher Donna Ferro, who was recently selected as the Middle School Teacher of the Year by the Southeastern PA District of the Society of Health & Physical Educators.
Ferro will receive her award at a ceremony in May.

"Your tireless efforts and innovative teaching methods have profoundly impacted the lives of many students. Your enthusiasm and love for education are truly inspiring, and this award reflects your hard work and perseverance," the SHAPE PA district award committee stated. "Your achievements serve as a shining example of what can be accomplished with passion and dedication."
The committee said it is sending Ferro's application to the state association to be considered for the SHAPE PA Middle School Teacher of the Year award.
