Neshaminy Teachers Sign Off On New 3-Year Contract

The Neshaminy School Board is expected to vote on the contract at its meeting on Tuesday night.

LANGHORNE, PA — The Neshaminy Federation of Teachers has approved a new three-year contract that will go before the Neshaminy School Board for a vote on Tuesday.

The school board will consider the contract at its meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the District Board Room at the Maple Point Elementary School, said Chris Stanley, the school district's director of communications.

According to the tentative agreement obtained by Patch, the pending contract is for about 650 union members.

The contract, if approved, would run from July 1 to June 30, 2028.

The agreement calls for a lower-cost health care alternative, increased preparation time for elementary teachers, and pay increases.

Salary increases each year as follows:

  • 2025-2026: Step movement; 2.5 percent increase for those who were at the top step in 2024-2025; and column adjustment in accordance with the CBA.
  • 2026-2027: Step movement; 1.5 percent increase for those on steps 1-11; 3 percent increase for those at the top step in 2025-2026; and column adjustment in accordance with the CBA.
  • 2027-2028: Step movement; 1.5 percent increase for those on steps 1-11; 3 percent increase for those at the top step in 2026-2027; and column adjustment in accordance with the CBA.

Co-curricular salaries:

  • 2025-2026 - increase by 2 percent
  • 2026-2027 - increase by 2.5 percent
  • 2027-2028 - increase by 2.5 percent
