Nominations for Holiday Roof Giveaway, Schuler Advances on 'The Voice'

Those interested in making a nomination have to fill out the form located at this link and provide photos or video of the house in need. The nomination deadline is November 27, 2013, and the winner will be announced in mid-December.
  • Pennsbury grad Matthew Schuler advanced through Tuesday night's Knockout Round on NBC's The Voice, tvline.com reports. He defeated Will Champlin with a rousing rendition of "Cosmic Love," but Champlin was stolen by rival judge Adam Levine.
  • The Bucks County Courier Times reports that the dispute over the removal of signs promoting the tullytownnews.com political website has reached a $7,500 settlement in favor of former councilman George Fox, who placed the signs along the Levittown Parkway. According to the article, Councilwoman May Kucher took down the signs in 2012, claiming she was following the borough's sign ordinance.
