Overturned Truck Caused Afternoon Traffic On Route 1
The driver did not suffer serious injuries in the single-vehicle crash that caused a traffic jam during evening rush hour.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — An overturned truck caused a large traffic jam after it was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Route 1 on the evening of Wednesday, Jan. 12.
Occurring around 5:20 p.m., the truck was overturned on the southbound lanes near South Bellevue Ave. The crash caused significant traffic in the area until tow trucks were able to move the vehicle; Route 1 was closed in both directions between Business Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road while the accident was being cleared.
Despite the state of the truck, the driver reportedly did not suffer any significant injuries.

The Middletown Township Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
