Oxford Enhanced Senior Living Welcomes New Executive Director

Oxford Enhanced Senior Living has named Ellen Michael as its new executive director. Located at 290 E. Winchester Ave. in Langhorne, the vibrant independent living community offers older adults worry-free apartment living along with the freedom to focus on personal interests, activities and hobbies.

Ms. Michael is an experienced healthcare professional who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to her new role at Oxford Enhanced Senior Living. She has devoted her career to working in independent living and personal care settings, most recently serving as executive director of Woodland Creek Alzheimer’s Specialty Care Center, a memory care community in Dresher, Pa.

Previously she held the director of administration position for Visiting Angels of Jenkintown, Horsham and Chadds Fords, and also served as executive director at Sunrise of Newtown Square, a senior living community in Newtown Square. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in health care administration from Rider University.

Ms. Michael has always been passionate about working with the geriatric community. She began her career in the senior living industry working for The Brunswick at Attleboro, which today is Oxford Crossings, the personal care component of the Oxford campus.

“Returning to the same Langhorne campus where I first launched my career is a full-circle moment for me, and I am honored for the opportunity to bring my experience and leadership to this new role,” she said. “At Oxford Enhanced Senior Living, I look forward to spearheading opportunities for growth, not only in attracting new residents, but in working directly alongside current residents to see their own desires for community activities grow and flourish.”
