Penndel Man Sentenced To Up To 98 Years For Sexual Assaults

Louis Charles Aiello, 59, was sentenced to prison for the sexual assault of five boys, which occurred over the span of almost three decades.

PENNDEL, PA — A Penndel man has been sentenced to 49 to 98 years in state prison for the sexual assault of five boys, which occurred at various times between 1993 and 2010.

Louis Charles Aiello, 59, was found guilty of felony counts of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old, statutory sexual assault, and aggravated indecent assault. He was found guilty on all these charges in July.

Common Pleas Judge Diane E. Gibbons found Aiello guilty after a three day waiver trial. He was also found guilty of corruption of minors, indecent assault and expose, and possession of child pornography. Aiello has remained in the Bucks County Correctional Facility since his arrest in June of 2020.

According to reports, Aiello was a friend of one victim's father and met the second victim while he was DJing at a wedding party.

Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub commented on the case.

“With this prosecution and sentence, we’ve ensured that the only daylight this predator will ever see again will be between the bars of a prison cell. I commend the prosecution team for their great work, and the victims for their bravery in coming forward and telling their truths.”

Weintraub's public comments on the case influenced more victims to come forward.

In addition to his prison sentence, Aiello was also deemed a sexually violent predator by the Sex Offender Assessment Board.
