Sean Grevy (Class of 2007)
Grevy — introduced by Dalia Vinokurov and Paige MacElroy — is the CEO and owner of 43 Oak, a leading New York City media buying and planning agency.
He is also the founder of the 43 Oak Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting underprivileged ice hockey players through educational development and mentorship. His work with the foundation has earned a five-year grant from UBS Wealth Management and a partnership with the New York Islanders.

Before his business ventures, Grevy played professional hockey. His accomplishments have been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, Suburban Life Magazine, USA Hockey, and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
He also appeared on television across major networks — from NHL Tonight and NBC Philly Live to 6ABC, CBS New York, and Fox 5 New York — where he’s shared his story of entrepreneurship and philanthropy.
In 2025, he was honored with the Marketing Maverick Under 40 Award from the NJ Ad Club — a
testament to his innovation, leadership, and heart for giving back.
“I didn’t graduate from college; however, I did graduate from Pennsbury High School. I’m very
proud of that because what I learned here at Pennsbury High School...I take with me now, every single day," Grevy said. "What I love most about this school is that no matter who you are, no matter what group of people you’re with, no matter what clique it is, you will find your group of people at this school. And as you get older in life, you will realize that there are all different types of groups of people that are out there, and we need to learn to assimilate with all of those groups of people. And, had I not gone to a school like Pennsbury, I don’t know that I would have learned to assimilate the way that I did, which in turn, I don’t know that I would have had the success in life that I’ve had.”
Dr. R. Bruce Hitchner (Class of 1969)
Dr. R. Bruce Hitchner — introduced by Ishan Kalro and Emily Moonay — is a scholar, leader, and true global citizen.
After graduating from Pennsbury High School in 1969, Hitchner earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Penn State, his master’s from the University of Chicago, and his Ph.D. from the
University of Michigan.
His career has been a remarkable journey through education, archaeology, and international diplomacy.
As Director of International Programs at the University of Dayton, he helped expand opportunities for students worldwide. Later, as Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Archaeology, he shaped
the direction of research in his field.
Hitchner also founded the Dayton Peace Accords Project — a United Nations–registered nonprofit
devoted to advancing peace and stability in Bosnia-Herzegovina. His voice has been sought by
organizations such as the Wilson Center, the U.S. Institute of Peace, and the Wall Street Journal for his
insights on the Balkans and global affairs.
Beyond his policy work, he has led four major Roman archaeological projects in Tunisia and France,
unearthing history and shaping people’s understanding of the ancient world. He even served as a commissioner for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, helping uphold the highest educational standards.
“I’m here in part because of the teachers who inspired in me a passion for learning, and a belief in the importance of being engaged in the world," Hitchner said.
Kathy Romano (Class of 1996)
Romano — introduced by Ben Goldstein and Jess Naumenko — is a popular voice in Philadelphia media. She is the host of The Kathy Romano Show on B101 and has spent over two decades as the
beloved female voice of "The Preston & Steve Show," contributing to the program’s 2021 induction into the Radio Hall of Fame.
She’s also the creator, producer, and host of “Her Story,” which aired on 93.3 WMMR and 95.7 BEN-FM, and the host of “Roamin’ with Romano,” featured on Eagles Pre & Post Game Live.
Her on-camera talents extend beyond radio — she served as the Philadelphia 76ers’ in-arena host for
four seasons and helped commuters navigate crowded Philadelphia roadways as traffic reporter for
NBC-10.
Romano has also launched her own jewelry line, the Kathy Romano Collection. Her philanthropy is equally impressive. Kathy founded the Fresh Smiles Foundation, helping children stay engaged in organized activities, and has served on the boards of the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation’s “Shyamaween” event and the Philadelphia Police Foundation.
Kathy has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” honoree for her
professional success and charitable work. She embodies energy, generosity, and drive — a true
inspiration on air, on screen, and in her community.
“Walking the halls here at Pennsbury is really what made me who I am today," Romano said. The friends that I am still friends with today, the teachers, and the staff that supported me. In fact, it was a teacher at Pennsbury High School who piqued my interest in the entertainment industry. I was given the opportunity to be part of the television station in 11th and 12th grade, and I knew from that point on that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry....your time at Pennsbury is preparing you for something amazing.”
Paul “Skip” Rickert (Class of 1972)
Paul “Skip” Rickert — introduced by Bobby Borgman and Dante Sciolla — is a man whose career has hit more high notes than most people could dream of.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, Rickert took the world stage as a touring music industry executive and manager.
His client list reads like a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame lineup: Ozzy Osbourne, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Guns N’ Roses, the Backstreet Boys, Barbra Streisand, Ice Cube, John Denver, Diana Ross, and currently, Santana.
Rickert has created and led world-class touring campaigns — from concept and design to execution — in arenas and stadiums across North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He’s also shared his expertise as a university lecturer, teaching leadership and the business of music to the next generation of industry leaders.
His creative talents extend beyond the stage — he’s produced music videos, earning a Latin Grammy nomination, and earned the ASCAP/BMI songwriter roster, with one of his songs climbing to No. 23 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay and No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
“I loved it here, I loved being a student here. I love the people I met here," Rickert said. "The administrators and the teachers you have here are dedicated to your well-being, emotional and physical. They care for you. And I would like to recognize them for taking care of me and taking care of you. Live your life without fear. You can do anything that you want. I had no idea I would travel the globe with rock-and-roll bands for 45 years. Who does that? A PHS grad did that!”
Dr. Patricia Leigh Zadnik Sullivan (Class of 2004)
Sullivan — introduced by Sarah Awadalla and Charlie Block — is a shining example of dedication, intellect, and compassion in the field of medicine.
Sullivan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University and then earned her medical degree
from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
She completed her neurosurgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where her excellence as
both a surgeon and educator earned her the Resident Teaching Award. Sullivan then pursued a fellowship in reconstructive spine and spinal chordoma and now serves as an assistant professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
She is the Director of Spinal Surgical Oncology at Brown University Health, leading groundbreaking
work in complex spine surgery and cancer care.
"Being here at Pennsbury...really allowed me to pursue a lot of different talents. I started here, and everything I needed to learn, I started by learning it here," Sullivan said. "I think a lot of people are very afraid of failure, and very afraid of hearing about their weaknesses or hearing about things they can improve...It’s okay to fail. It’s okay when someone tells you you’re not doing a good job...it can make you better. Be kind, be of service, and don’t be afraid of failing. This school is really full of incredible opportunities, and will absolutely prepare you for what lies ahead.”
