Pennsbury School Board Education Committee Meeting: What To Know

The Board will discuss topics ranging from a new committee chair, school start times, and more.

FALLSINGTON, PA — The Pennsbury School Board Education Committee will host a meeting in the Fallsington Elementary School Cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21.

The Board will discuss an array of topics related to the school district, including the election of a new committee chair.

The topic of school start times throughout the district, as well as weather-reltated school closings, will also be discussed. As the winter weather approaches Bucks County, closures due to snow and ice are commonplace at Pennsbury and other local school districts.

The use of Chromebooks for children and teens in the district will also be discussed. According to an attached document, the use of this technology will aid students in their learning endeavors, especially during a time when remote learning is becoming more common.

"Students can easily collaborate with students while working on the same document, presentation, online application, etc.," the presentation said.
