Resurfacing Underway On Lower Bucks Co. Roads

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Several roads in Lower Bucks County are undergoing resurfacing this week.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that the resurfacing is to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county region.

  • Monday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Fallsington Tullytown Road between Low Lane and New Falls Road in Falls Township and Tullytown Borough for milling, paving, and utility construction.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when going through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
