Sesame Place Celebrating Labor Day Weekend
The Middletown Township amusement park will celebrate the end of summer with fireworks on Sunday night.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Sesame Place Philadelphia will celebrate the Labor Day weekend with fireworks on Sunday night.
The amusement park at 100 Sesame Road in Langhorne will celebrate the unofficial end of summer with a Back-to-School bash, Labor Day fireworks, and a free admission offer for first responders.
Sesame Place is pulling out all the stops to make summer unforgettable before it slips away. The park invites guests to celebrate with exciting events and exclusive offers to gear up for back-to-school season.

Before heading back to the classroom for an exciting school year, guests can experience back-to-school festivities on Friday. Guests can join Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and Count von Count as they sing, dance, and share all the ways school rules in the Back to School Bash Dine with Elmo & Friends and dance along with their favorite furry friends at the all-new Back to School Bash Dance Party.
Sesame Place Philadelphia has partnered with the United Way of Bucks County for its third annual Back to School Bash School Supply Drive.

Through Friday, the park will collect new backpacks and new packs of pens, pencils, highlighters, crayons, and markers at the Welcome Center. Guests who donate from the list of requested items will receive an in-park spending voucher for merchandise or food and beverage purchases. The United Way of Bucks County will distribute donations to local families and schools in need through their HELP Center.
As a thank-you to local educators, Sesame Place Philadelphia will offer those who qualify a free 2025 Teacher Pass valid for unlimited visits throughout the 2025 Season and the remainder of the season. To learn more and register, teachers must visit SesamePlace.com/Philadelphia.
The Labor Day weekend celebration is on Saturday and Sunday.
Elmo will be available for Meet & Greets in his patriotic attire, and the spectacular “C is for Celebrate” Labor Day Fireworks will delight guests and light up the night sky with brilliant bursts of color exclusively on Sunday, September 1 at 8 p.m.
For a sweet spread of desserts and exclusive Meet & Greet with a furry friend, guests can take advantage of the Labor Day Sweet Treats package or upgrade to the ultimate celebration package, the Labor Day Sweet Treats & Fireworks package. This package includes an escort to a reserved fireworks viewing area.
First Responders Weekend, September 7-8
Sesame Place will celebrate its hometown heroes and thank those who local communities safe at First Responders Weekend. Everyone’s favorite furry friends will be dressed in firefighter and police officer uniforms for Meet & Greets, and guests can meet local firefighters and explore emergency response vehicles up close! The park will honor these local heroes with a First Responders Pre-Parade along the Sesame Street Neighborhood at 2:45 p.m. each day before the Sesame Street Party Parade.
In addition, Sesame Place will offer qualifying first responders one single-day admission ticket free of charge and a discount on additional admission tickets for friends and family.
