'Shoot Up The School' Threats Reported By Pennsbury District
Officials said that threats were made against Pennsbury High and two other schools on Thursday and Friday.
FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The Pennsbury School District has received repeated threats about someone “with plans to shoot up the school” at three buildings.
School officials alerted the Pennsbury High School community that the administration was notified Thursday night by a staff member that a student told them they heard something about someone “with plans to shoot up the school.”
No additional information was provided or the individual identified. The Falls Township Police Department was called to investigate, school officials said.

Meanwhile, a "copycat" threat was revealed Friday morning.
The Walt Disney Elementary and Pennwood Middle School Families, on Friday a student reported a "concerning statement" made by another student related to “shooting up the Pennwood School and the Walt Disney School.”
"We believe that this statement was a 'copycat' of the one made about Pennsbury High School (Thursday) night," Smith said.
School officials said the student who allegedly made the statement regarding Pennwood and Walt Disney has been identified and is being investigated by the police. Regardless of intent, the student will be held accountable and is subject to charges by the police, officials said.
The statement is not considered credible, school officials said, but police from Tullytown and Lower Makefield were stationed at both Pennwood and Disney for the rest of Friday.
"We commend the student for reporting the concerning statement to a staff member. Each tip received by the District regarding potential acts of violence is thoroughly investigated. The safety and security of our students and staff are of utmost importance to us," Smith said.
