St. Mary Makes National List For Orthopedics

LANGHORNE, PA — St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne has been named one of the nation's best hospitals for joint replacement and orthopedic surgery.

That's according to a national study by Healthgrades, an online source for information about doctors and hospitals. Every year, Healthgrade evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals for 32 of the most common in-patient procedures and conditions, using Medicare and other data.

St. Mary was placed in the top 100 in joint replacement and orthopedic surgery this year in the site's 2020 Report to the Nation.

St. Mary also received five-star ratings in hip-fracture repair, spinal fusion surgery, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, appendectomy, treating pneumonia, peripheral vascular bypass and defibrillator procedures.
In addition, St. Mary was the recipient of the 2020 Joint Replacement Excellence Award and Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award.
