SUV Flies Off Overpass In U.S. 1 Crash In Falls
Alcohol and speeding are believed to have been factors in the late-night crash, Falls Township Police say.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — An SUV flew off of an overpass and fell about 75 feet down an embankment in a crash on U.S. 1 in Falls Township late Thursday, according to police.
Police say speed and alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash, which happened at 11:10 p.m on southbound U.S. 1 at West Bridge Street.
Falls Township Police say Nathan Rosenblatt, of Bristol Township, was speeding when his Chevy Trailblazer went off the overpass and into the woods. Responding officers found the SUV about 75 feet down an embankment, police said.

According to investigators, the SUV had hit a guardrail and gone airborne, then rolled over several times before coming to a rest on its driver side, trapping Rosenblatt inside.
Units from Falls and Morrisville fire departments were able to get him out. He was then taken by Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, in Trenton, with serious injuries to the head and legs.
