Woman Injured After Being Struck By Pickup Truck In Falls Twp.

Falls Township Police said the woman was trying to cross the Levittown Parkway on Sunday afternoon.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A woman is in stable condition after being struck by a pickup truck while trying to cross the Levittown Parkway on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The Falls Township Police Department said that a 48-year-old Levittown man was driving his Dodge Ram Pickup Truck along Levittown Parkway in the area of Spur Lane at 2:15 p.m. Sunday when a 29-year-old Bristol Township woman crossing the roadway was struck.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined that alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency were not factors in the crash, saying the woman crossed the roadway in an unsafe manner and location.

The woman was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition after having received several fractures and a laceration to her head as a result of the collision.
