Woman Killed On Route 13 In Bristol Borough

A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 13, where several similar accidents have occurred in the past year.

BRISTOL, PA — A Bucks County woman was killed while attempting to cross Route 13 in Bristol Borough on the night of Thursday, Dec. 9.

The victim, a 52-year-old female, was crossing the busy roadway when a vehicle struck her. the incident occurred in the southbound lanes of Bath Road and Commerce Circle.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and is cooperating with police.

The section of Route 13 where it occurred was closed until 2 a.m. The crash task force of theBucks County District Attorney’s Office is currently investigating the crash with police.

This accident is one of several that have occurred on Route 13 this year. In August, a mother and child were struck and left in critical condition after being hit on the same road. Police are still investigating the hit-and-run from Oct. 29 that left one man dead.
