Community Day Deadline, Goschenhoppen Folk Festival Kicks Off Today

For business and community groups interested in participating in the Limerick Township Community Day on Aug. 24, participants are asked to sign up by today. The event will include a farmers market, a rotary carnival, inflatables, tables for local groups, a business expo, and music and entertainment.

The 47th Annual Goschenhoppen Folk Festival will begin today in Perkiomenville, considered a “non-commercial, family-oriented day in Goschenhoppen. It will feature old-fashioned Pennsylvania Dutch foods, and volunteers will show the tools, trades, pasttimes and music of the periods.  For more information, click here.

The Montgomery County 4-H Fair will continue Friday in Skippack from 9:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. The day includes a cattle show, Montgomery County Parks Demo, Sheep Show, Daisy Jug band, Horseless Horse Show, and much more.  For the full schedule, click here.
