Flash Flood Warning Issued In Parts Of Montgomery Co.

Residents are urged to move immediately to higher ground, the National Weather Service said.

POTTSTOWN, PA β€” A flash flood warning has been issued for swaths of Montgomery County on Monday night, the National Weather Service said.

The warning covers most of the eastern half of the county, running from Limerick and Royersford up to Harleysville and west to Pennsburg.

It's in place until 11:15 p.m.

Residents are urged to move immediately to higher ground, the National Weather Service said.

Heavy rains inundated numerous parts of the region throughout the afternoon and into the evening Monday, triggering multiple floods and swamping key highways and roads.

Drivers are reminded to always turn around if they see high water, and never drive through it.
