Gas Leak, Underground Fire Danger Leads To Evacuations In Royersford
A stretch of Main Stree twas shut down and authorities evacuated residents Sunday.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The possibility of an underground electrical fire in Royersford led authorities to evacuate local residents and shut down a road on Sunday.
The incident occurred at around 8:45 a.m. on the 200 block of Main Street.
Authorities later described the situation as a gas leak.

Main Street was shut down between 2nd and 3rd streets as Royersford police evacuated residents.
PECO crews were on scene making repairs throughout the day Sunday.
