Limerick Diner Reopens After Fire Wednesday
First responders responded to the scene at the Limerick Diner Wednesday morning.

LIMERICK, PA β First responders and firefighters put out a small fire at the Limerick Diner Wednesday morning which briefly closed down the establishment.
Crews arrived at the diner on 411 W. Ridge Pike at around 9:25 a.m. after smoke was seen, officials said. Callers also reported an electrical smell.
The fire was focused on the roof area, and did not cause significant damage before it was extinguished. The diner's owners described the incident as minor, and they reopened before 12:30 p.m.

"We are back open," the diner shared in a statement. "We are grateful everyone was safe after a minor roof fire we were able to repair it without any damage. Thank you to the Limerick Fire Department for their rapid response. See you for lunch!"
No injuries were reported.
