Limerick Police Department Is Hiring

The police department is accepting applicants, and interviews are expected to begin at the end of the month.

LIMERICK, PA β€”Limerick police department is hiring police officers to work in the 22.7-sqare mile township in Montgomery County. Applicants are required to be of 21 years of age and a U.S. citizen.

Applicants are also required to have completed a course of study at a police academy that is certified by the Municipal Police Officers and Education Training Commission or meet the standards of the commission required by Act 120; or qualify for a waiver.

Other necessary requirements include, a driver’s license, physically and mentally fit, 60 college credits or two years experience preferred, but not required and no visible tattoos when in uniform.
