Limerick Supervisors Approve Final Plans For Chick-fil-A Expansion
Plans are also in the works for a distillery in the township.

LIMERICK, PA — Limerick Township supervisors Tuesday night approved a final plan to expand Chick-fil-A at 70 Buckwalter Road.
The plan also includes adding a second drive-through, enlarging the kitchen, and adding parking spaces.
The Chick-fil-A employees will take orders on I-pads and bring the food out to cars. The plan also calls for a new trash disposal area.

The key improvement is the drive-thru addition which will triple the amount of vehicles to 36 at one time. The Chick-fil-A drive-thru opened in 2015.
Plans in the works for a distillery
A developer presented a plan to open a distillery at 527 N. Lewis Road.

Dr. Clark Rosenberry said the plan calls for distilling gin and rum, and eventually brandy.
“We will start off with production, maybe with a few tastings,” he said. “This will not be a large open business with a lot of foot traffic.”
The plan also includes eight parking spaces.
